Dress Dash 2020

We’re booking our next Dress Dash events in Portland and Seattle! Fill out the form on our Events page if you’re interested in receiving dates about our next Dress Dash event once they are booked! Typically, our Dress Dash events are held every year in either January or February!

What’s a Dress Dash?

A Dress Dash is our clearance event, where we pack up a few hundred wedding dresses from our boutique locations and discount them for all $150! The events are held off-site at cool wedding venues in the city. Its our way to “clear our racks” to make room for new inventory and a way for our brides to “dash” for a dress for only $150! This is the biggest sale of the year!! If you can’t make the dates, visit our Boutique Locations – open 7 days a week on a walk-in basis!

Operation Wedding Gown November 4-10, 2019


Brides for a Cause teams up with Brides Across America every July and November to offer FREE wedding dresses to local military brides and first responders during their annual “Operation Wedding Gown” events, which are held at over 60 bridal salons around the country, including our 3 stores in Portland, Tacoma and Seattle!

If you are interested in getting a free wedding dress at Brides for a Cause, join us during one of Brides Across America’s “Operation Wedding Gown” events in July & November. Once the dates are announced of the next event, you must register on the Brides Across America website before attending!

During the giveaway, you will need to sign up on the Brides Across America site and pay the registration fee before you shop. Once you sign up, you don’t need to set up an appointment with Brides for a Cause, as we’re open 7 days a week on a walk-in basis. Just come by anytime during store hours during the specific dates in July or November to get your free wedding dress! Check our Locations page for individual store hours!

Who Qualifies:

We’re giving away free wedding dresses to brides who are on active duty, a veteran of the military within the past 5 years, a first responder – or is marrying someone who is. Screening questions:

  1. Are you engaged and planning a wedding within the next 18 months?
  2. Have you or your fiancé been on active military duty, or a veteran within the past 5 years? (We accept deployments as well as active service).
  3. Are a first responder bride?  If so, you or your fiancé must be an activepolice officer, fire fighter, EMT, or Paramedic with a valid work ID or proof of service.
  4. Have you had a civil ceremony and are now planning a formal wedding?

If you answer ‘Yes’ to 1 or 4 above, and you also answer ‘Yes’ to criteria 2 or 3 above, you qualify.

Register: Brides must register online in advance on the Brides Across America website prior to shopping. Find our store and click Register. Find out if you qualify. You must bring a valid Military ID with you. To learn more, visit: http://www.bridesacrossamerica.com/
