The Dress for Success Oregon gift amount went towards their Celebrate Success fundraiser. Both will help women, especially those impacted from the COVID pandemic, achieve and maintain economic sustainability. The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted women and their ability to achieve and maintain economic sustainability. One of the biggest issues is that access to childcare hasn’t returned to pre-pandemic levels. And the positions many women are accessing do not offer the pay level or flexibility needed in order to support themselves and their families. Dress for Success is working to change that by working to help women get into jobs in tech, the trades and healthcare. These offer higher wage jobs with stability and the opportunity for long-term success.
