We gifted $10,000 to Girls Who Code!
Girls Who Code is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. Brides for a Cause is helping to accomplish this by investing in their programs!
Our gift this year will help Girls Who Code grow its programs that support girls at all points in their computer science journey, reaching girls before their interest wanes in computer science and tech. The Girls Who Code programs are designed to allow students to make broader connections in the computer science world, to help them build their social capital, and help demystify tech roles allowing them to broaden their horizons about what’s possible.
