Our gift to Mary’s Place went towards their Dream BIG fundraiser. Across the region, an estimated 124,400 households are behind on rent. Eviction moratoriums are ending and pandemic rental assistance funding has run out. The Dream BIG campaign raises critical Rapid Response funds to keep families in their hard-won homes or help them move back into housing quickly – and to operate our emergency family shelters. And thanks to the generosity of Amazon, our donation was doubled to help families in the King County community! Thanks to our support, the $10,000 gift becomes $20,000, enough to provide 14 families with rent and housing deposit support, enabling them to move out of shelter and into warmth and safety in stable housing.
