Sacramento based @weaveinc is a nonprofit that is dedicated to promoting safe and healthy relationships and supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and sex trafficking.
Our $10,000 gift will be used to serve women staying in its emergency Safehouse program or transitional housing program who have legal barriers to safety. Every night, WEAVE provides safe shelter to 23 families (up to 96 adults and children) through its emergency Safehouse program and another eight families (up to 32 adults and children) through its transitional housing program. Women represent 98% of the adult victims served through these programs and 92% of them require legal interventions to remain safe.
