We gifted $10,000 to the Joyful Heart Foundation!
Joyful Heart Foundation is a nonprofit organization on a mission to transform society’s response to sexual assault and domestic violence and support survivors’ healing. Through their advocacy work, they seek to improve the criminal justice and community response to violence and abuse through reforms to laws and policies. Joyful Heart Foundation has made the elimination of the rape kit backlog a top priority through it’s #endthebacklog initiative. We are helping to #endthebacklog of untested rape kit tests through our financial contributions!
The nonprofit has recently launched a brand new website that our financial support helped create. There isn’t a site out there like it. Endthebacklog.org is a complete repository for all victims, advocates, legislators and those interested in knowing exactly what is happening right now, in their state in regards to the rape kit backlog.
