New charity alert! We are excited to invest in the local community of Tacoma and support @raisinggirlsorg!
Raising Girls is a nonprofit organization addressing adolescent personal hygiene and period poverty. Since 2017, they have distributed over 26,000 hygiene bags to youth in three counties (Pierce, Thurston & King) and partner with 250 schools in the area.
Their primary focus is serving elementary, middle and high schools. Teens who do not have access to a reliable supply of period products often leave school early or miss school entirely. We love that our donation will help tackle this issue!
