Brides Across America Qualification Application


Brides Across America is a nationwide charity dedicated to providing free wedding gowns for military, first responder, and COVID-19 frontline healthcare worker brides. Operation Wedding Gown is pleased to be giving back to our heroes with this special celebratory event.

Brides for a Cause is pleased to host an Operation Wedding Gown Event. Please fill out the required form below before the event and bring verification of deployment or employment, along with a driver’s license or ID with you to Brides for a Cause.

BAA Qualification Application

Please fill out this form prior to the Brides Across America event. This form is required for all registered brides in advance.

  • MILITARY BRIDES: you or your fiancé must be on active duty or a veteran within the last 5 years. FIRST RESPONDER BRIDES: you or your fiancé must be one of the following first responders: fire fighter, EMT/paramedic, police officer or corrections officer. COVID-19 HOSPITAL BRIDES: YOU (not your partner) must be the hospital worker and are assisting directly with the COVID-19 pandemic. Only doctors, nurses and patient care technician working on the front lines qualify.
  • Please select the type of occupation for you or your partner that qualifies you for a free dress. Please bring proof of occupation with you to BFAC.
  • Please include more details about your qualifying occupation before you come in, such as branch of service if military, title/city of service if first responder or title/hospital if hospital bride working directly with COVID patients. Please do not include any confidential or sensitive information.
  • You must be engaged and planning a wedding within the next 18 months.
  • On the Brides Across America website, which Brides for a Cause store location did you choose?
  • Reservations are required to attend. You may only shop at 1 of our locations and book (1) 60 minute room reservation. Please bring only 3 people with you. Masks optional.
  • Please include any questions or comments that you have about the event.
