Brides Across America Qualification Application


Brides Across America is a nationwide charity dedicated to providing free wedding gowns for military and first responder brides. Operation Wedding Gown is pleased to be giving back to our heroes with this special celebratory event.

Brides for a Cause is pleased to host an Operation Wedding Gown Event. Please fill out the required form below before the event and bring verification of deployment or employment and a driver’s license or ID with you to Brides for a Cause.

BAA Qualification Application

Please fill out this form prior to the Brides Across America event. This form is required for all registered brides in advance.

  • MILITARY BRIDES: you or your fiancé must be on active duty or a veteran within the last 5 years. FIRST RESPONDER BRIDES: you or your fiancé must be one of the following first responders: fire fighter, EMT/paramedic, police officer or corrections officer.
  • Please select the type of occupation for you or your partner that qualifies you for a free dress. Please bring proof of occupation with you to BFAC.
  • Please include more details about your qualifying occupation before you come in, such as branch of service if military or title/city of service if first responder. Please do not include any confidential or sensitive information.
  • You must be engaged and planning a wedding within the next 18 months.
  • On the Brides Across America website, which Brides for a Cause store location did you choose?
  • Reservations are required to attend. You may only shop at 1 of our locations and book (1) 60 minute room reservation. Please bring only 3 people with you.
  • Please include any questions or comments that you have about the event.
