KCRA3 Features Sacramento Boutique

SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Wedding dresses can cost hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars. On Saturday, brides-to-be who have served the community were treated to free wedding dresses.

Brides for a Cause Boutique in Midtown Sacramento teamed up with the group Brides Across America to give members of the military and first responders hundreds of designer gowns to choose from — for free.

Organizers said they were thrilled they could support some of the women who support the rest of us.

“Basically, we just wanted to partner and do this event with Brides Across America to give back to the community for these amazing women who do what they do,” said Taylor Jopson, boutique manager.

The nonprofit has given away more than 340 wedding dresses throughout the country since partnering with Brides Across America five years ago.

Brides for a Cause is more than a bridal store – it’s a bridal store that raises funds for charity!
